GS Power's Combined Heat and Power Plant produces both electricity and heat simultaneously, doubling energy utilization efficiency and significantly reducing the emission of air pollutants and greenhouse gases (CO₂).
The heat produced at the power plants is supplied for cooling and heating purposes to approximately 400,000 households in the nearby municipalities, along with the waste incineration heat generated by the neighboring areas of Anyang, Bucheon, and surrounding cities.
GS Power's Combined Heat and Power Plant efficiently produces both heat and electricity, resulting in high power generation efficiency. It significantly reduces carbon and fine dust emissions during the generation process, leading to a strong greenhouse gas reduction effect. Located near the demand areas, it serves as a prominent dispersed generation system, eliminating the need for large-scale transmission lines and long-distance fuel pipelines.
