GS Power's Anyang Office
The Safety and Health Mutual Cooperation Program is a policy initiative led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to address the safety and health gaps with vulnerable subcontractors and to promote workplace environment improvements and the spread of safety culture where everyone can work safely.
GS Power has consistently maintained the highest safety grade of "A" for six consecutive years through systematic three-stage safety and health education and the operation of the "STOP Program." At the Anyang Combined Heat and Power Plant, efforts from employees and executives to enhance safety and health management and active support for cooperating companies have produced good results in areas aimed at upgrading safety and health management, such as the introduction of a Smart Safety Management System. In the future, GS Power plans to continue investing in the safety and accident prevention of cooperating companies. This is to create a safe workplace where all employees and executives, cooperating company workers, customers, and others are not excluded from safety.
First of all, GS Power holds an annual accident-free resolution conference in collaboration with its cooperating companies to achieve zero accidents within its business units.
Additionally, GS Power provides support for risk assessments for cooperating companies and distributes safety and health equipment to cooperating company employees during the summer and winter seasons to ensure their well-being.
Furthermore, GS Power provides safety equipment rentals to support its cooperating companies in addressing any deficiencies in on-site safety management. In addition, employees are encouraged to participate in safety training conducted by the safety department before commencing work, with the aim of enhancing safety awareness and preventing accidents.
GS Power also conducts workplace environment measurements and office disinfection for cooperating companies to ensure the health and well-being of their employees and executives, particularly in the context of COVID-19 infection prevention.
