GS Power conducts integrated environmental audits through SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) audits.
At the beginning of the year, an audit plan is established, and a total of 20 internal auditors conduct mutual audits between the Seoul office, Anyang, and Bucheon Combined Heat and Power Plants to assess the suitability and effectiveness of the environmental management system.
In particular, in order to effectively conduct in-house audits, the initially appointed internal auditors were required to complete consignment training from a specialized organization to secure qualification for audits.
We identify matters requiring improvement through internal and external reviews and issue recommendations or corrective actions.
We report the review details to the CEO for continuous improvement. We are establishing and executing direction.
The GS Power environmental accident response system is unified as an environmental safety accident response system.
The company is committed to taking every possible measure in advance to achieve zero environmental and safety accidents.
GS Power takes proactive measures to prevent human and material accidents resulting from emergency situations that may occur in power generation and heat supply facilities. Each power generation site has established response teams and emergency contact networks to minimize damage in the event of an accident. Detailed response scenarios are prepared for various emergency situations, and training is conducted at least once a year based on these scenarios.
