GS Power has established an advisory committee composed of social welfare experts and professors to incorporate their recommendations into its activities and to review their feasibility. Additionally, the company is collaborating with local community universities to select a youth volunteer group of college students, providing a platform for young individuals to realize their potential and showcase their talents.

We support the dreams and hopes of future generations by preparing various programs such as youth mentoring through employee volunteer work, children's water parks, and youth social welfare schools.
As part of the project to support areas surrounding the power plant, we are selecting approximately 300 middle and high school students and providing scholarships.
In 2022, we collaborated with the Anyang City Talent Development Foundation to recruit ‘ESG Scholarship Students with GS Power’.
We selected 77 ESG scholarship students who were motivated to implement social change in the environment, society, and governance, and conducted an ESG video contest and a citizen campaign to spread consensus on ESG values.

The college student youth donation project, under the slogan ‘Youth, Light Your Community’, is GS Power’s youth talent training program that aims to help young people grow into responsible leaders by helping them recognize the importance of living together in society and experience community service.
Twentyfive college students selected from four schools, including Daelim and Sungkyul University in Anyang and Yuhan and Bucheon and Seoul Theological University in Bucheon, are part of the ‘College Student Youth Donation Volunteer Group’ and are participating in CSR activities with the theme of understanding the local community and volunteering.
We also hold a CSR idea contest for college students and plan and implement the winning ideas as CSR activities.
The ‘Memories Recharge Storybook’ activity, which interviews the life stories of seniors living alone and turns them into a picture book to give as a gift, has been well received by the local community.

We collaborate with social enterprises and non-profit organizations to provide opportunities to learn and experience energy theory professionally. By producing a renewable energy kit, we are learning about the generation and conversion of energy such as photovoltaic, and wind power, and directly experiencing environmental purification activities such as plogging.
By engaging college students as direct agents of CSR activities rather than just coming up with ideas, GS Power plans to continue providing opportunities for young talent to create a better community.

We are implementing social contribution programs for seniors and local residents who are socially and economically marginalized.
We are implementing a heat bill reduction and energy voucher system to help the underprivileged have a warm winter, and GS Power executives and employees are learning the value of loving their neighbors by participating in the lives of their neighbors and doing volunteer work.
In 2022, two outings were held to restore social networks. Love-sharing kimchi is being carried out across 1,300 households in Anyang, Bucheon, and Gunpo, and GS Power executives and employees, community groups, welfare centers, and private volunteers are directly participating in the event to convey warmth to neighbors in the cold winter.

Through the Great Sharing bazaar, we are promoting a virtuous cycle of local resources, using idle land to create village gardens, and providing venues where residents can unite by holding a children's water park and a water gun festival.
